In September, when the cool autumn breeze brought a refreshing feeling, the Party Branch of Blossom & Credit Law Firm organized all CPC members, probationary CPC members, and active applicants for Party Membership to visit the Jiaozhuanghu Tunnel Warfare Site Memorial Hall in Shunyi District, Beijing in order to deeply study and implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and to welcome the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.

The Jiaozhuanghu Tunnel Warfare Site Memorial Hall, located at the foot of Waituo Mountain, a range of Yan Mountain, the northeast of Shunyi District, was built in the autumn of 1964. When entering the memorial hall, what caught our eyes were abundant historical pictures and physical remains. Afterward, the hall staff introduced to us the deeds of Jiaozhuanghu people who used underground tunnels to resist the Japanese army during that time. These deeds vividly recorded the peoples’ arduous struggle in the occupied areas and the significant importance of the Jiaozhuanghu Tunnel Warfare to Jidong base area.

Everyone carefully watched the pictures, texts, physical remains, etc. displayed in the memorial hall, and deeply felt the spirit of the Chinese people under the strong leadership of the Communist Party of China, namely, not afraid of sacrifice, forging ahead bravely and fighting courageously.

After visiting the exhibition hall, everyone personally experienced Jiaozhuanghu tunnel. The tunnel was gradually built by the people of Jiaozhuanghu in their long-term battle against the enemy. Everyone deeply felt the wisdom and bravery of the revolutionary martyrs during the Anti-Japanese War. These revolutionary martyrs resisted bravely in the harsh situation.

Through this CPC day event, everyone has deeply felt that it was hard-won for today’s happy life, as it was created by the people through heroic and tenacious struggle under the Party’s leadership. We must inherit and carry forward the glorious traditions of our martyrs, stand firm in ideals and convictions and raise the awareness of CPC members of loving the party and supporting the party to fully play the exemplary role of Communist CPC members in our work. We should practice the party’s purpose with practical actions, staying true to our Party’s founding mission!
